Fall 2021 - Present -- I have been working on putting together my Ph.D. thesis which focuses on symmetries of general divided difference equations and how they relate to a generalization of jet space known as multispace.

See the first paper on this topic here.

Summer 2021 -- I worked as a TA for the Summer Geometry Initiative (SGI) up at MIT. You can see some of the projects that the students put together here.

Summer 2019 - Fall 2020 -- I worked under Dr. Jeanne Clelland on a project studying mathematical methods of generating district maps to help prevent gerrymandering within states. Specifically, we focused on determining compactness measures for the dual graph of district mappings generated using a ReComb method (a Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm).

See the paper here.
More information from the Metric Geometry and Gerrymandering Group (MGGG) here.

Fall 2017 - Spring 2018 -- I worked on an independent study project dealing with the applications of Discrete Differential Geometry (DDG) to 3D rendering and Geometry processing software. This culminated in an honor's thesis where I connected some of the topics in DDG to their uses in the making of movies and other graphical entertainment. The paper is written to be as accessible as possible to any undergraduate that has taken Calculus, so please take a look if you are interested. There are lots of pretty pictures!

See the paper here.

Summer 2017 -- I worked as part of a summer REU studying and calculating a formal group laws for p-adic integers. Our calculations were mainly done in $\mathbb{Z}_5$.

See the paper here.

Summer 2016 -- I worked as part of an REU studying Möbius transformations related to the Schmidt arrangement of $\mathbb{Q}(i)$.
