This paper modifies the geometric construction of Time, the grand illusion to make it applicable to the four-dimensional manifold of geodesic two-spheres in a three-dimensional riemannian manifold, thus deriving space-time from space in general, not just from euclidean space. Space-time–time is derived by application of the analogous construction to the five-dimensional manifold of geodesic three-‘spheres’ in a generic space-time manifold. Analysis of the geodesics of space-time–time shows how quantum phenomena associated with the behavior of charged test particles are already present in the geometry of this space-time–time.
