Syllabus:

• Grades: Homework (50%) assigned weekly, due Wednesdays. Two take-home exams (25% each).
• Text: "Vector Calculus for Differential Geometry" by me. Other references you may find useful for the early part of the course: "Calculus on manifolds" by Michael Spivak and "Analysis on manifolds" by James Munkres.

• Office hours: Tuesday 1:00-2:00 and Friday 2:00-3:00. You may always feel free to email me for an appointment at any other time, or just show up if I'm in the office.
