MATH 6260, Geometry of Quantum Fields, Fall 2021

Course Contents:

Provides a rigorous treatment of infinite series, sequences of functions and multivariable analysis. Time permitting an introduction to Lebesgue integration and/or Fourier analysis will be given.

Lecture Hours and Venue:

MWF 1:50 p.m. - 2:40 p.m., HUMN 180.

Office Hours:

Mon. 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., Tue. 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., and by appointment

Homework assignments will be given here.

Course Project:

In addition to the homework, each student has to work on a course project and write a short paper (around 5 pages) which will be presented in class. A selection of possible topics will be provided here, but you can propose your own project.

Course Grading:

Your grade will be determined from the talk and the course project.
