I'm the one wearing a hat.

Spring 2009 teaching

Math 2001 (Discrete Mathematics)
Math 3510 (Intro to Probability and Statistics)

Research Interests

Probability, Mathematical Physics:
Largely, spectral properties of random matrices and other random operators.

I am also interested in applications of random matrix theory to wireless communications, and have an openning for a Visiting Asst. Prof. in this direction.

Local Happenings

Present:
Joonho predicts a Stanley Cup. (Maybe in his lifetime.)
Spring 2009 Probability-Statistics Seminar.

Past:
"Frontier Probability Days" (University of Utah, March 15-17 2009).
"Random Matrix Theory and Wireless Communication" workshop, July 14-17 2008.
The original "Frontier Probability Days", May 21-22 2007.
